Hello! I can explain how to use Dashboard, Sales, Products, Returns, Reports, Settings, Users, Customer Screen, Barcode/QR scanning, and receipt printing. Try asking: How do I sell items?
This assistant works offline using built-in help rules. It does not require an internet connection.

Page Guide

Quick checks

  • Make sure XAMPP Apache and MySQL are running.
  • Confirm the database name is mini_pos.
  • Run any SQL update file included in the sql folder after upgrades.
  • Use Ctrl + F5 after replacing files to clear browser cache.

Login help

  • Admin users can access Settings and Users.
  • Supervisor users can process sales, products, reports, and returns.
  • Cashier users can access the Sales/POS screen.
  • If locked out, reset the password from phpMyAdmin or use the demo accounts on a fresh install.

Scanner help

  • Use a 2D scanner to read both barcode and QR code.
  • Most scanners work like a keyboard and type into the scan field.
  • Set the scanner to press Enter after each scan for fastest checkout.

Receipt help

  • Admin can enable or disable auto-print receipt in Settings.
  • For thermal printers, set the browser print paper size to 58mm or 80mm.
  • Cashier can manually print from the receipt button if auto-print is off.
